SystemSuite by Avanquest is one of the most versatile and easy to use programs we reviewed. It includes a large utility suite that is easy to use and well-laid out to be fast and simple. For these reasons, it earns the "TopTenREVIEWS Bronze Award."

Ease of Use:
Because of the new installer and better integration that Avanquest worked so hard on in this new release, SystemSuite has become a top of the line product. It includes a user interface that revolves around their "One-Click Solutions" which makes diagnosing and fixing an issue much faster than going through and running each individual option. In the event that you only need a single option, the menus are set up to do this easily.
Ease of Setup:
Avanquest consolidated the installation of SystemSuite between versions 7 and 8. Before version 8, the install process for SystemSuite was long and sometimes difficult. SystemSuite 8 however is a singular install process. Installation was longer than averag, but aside from this small drawback, the install was simple and easy to follow.
In an unfortunate turn of events, the uninstall of SystemSuite was less complete. While it did get rid of much of the program, there were many directories and registry entries that were left behind.
Maintenance/Diagnostics:
SystemSuite includes many maintenance and diagnostic utilities. Most of them are integrated into the One-Click Solutions part of the program for ease of use. Everything is also available by itself though so you don't have to run the entire suite just to accomplish one thing.
Repair/Recovery:
The repair and recovery options included with Avanquest SystemSuite are top notch. The file recovery utility is nice, but requires a "snapshot" of your filesystem in order for it to work.
Optimization:
SystemSuite offers both a hard drive and a registry defrag tool to help keep your computer optimized and working fast. There is also a wizard dedicated to optimizing your computer which will automate several tasks into a single click.
Feature Set:
SystemSuite includes many features that make it a top line program in the PC System Utilities category. A firewall, antivirus engine, antispyware engine and various smaller utilities come together to make one of the most complete and feature packed programs available. Also included are a registry scanner and editor, utilities to help with synching your computer clock, applying Windows updates and diagnosing any problems you may have with your hard drive.
Help/Support:
Avanquest offers some of the better customer support options within the PC System Utilities software category. FAQs, a support forum, email support and phone support all come together to answer any questions you may have while using Avanquest SystemSuite.
Summary:
Avanquest SystemSuite has come a long way in a short time to become a leading product in the PC System Utilities market. You get a quality product from a company that shows a commitment to constant improvement of their software. We like the functionality SystemSuite provides and suggest its use if you need a solid PC System Utilities suite.
